Pipelines for gas or liquid that can entail a risk to health and safety must in addition be marked with hazard symbols in accordance with applicable EU directives. The pipes shall be marked with a maximum distance of 5 m between marking points.
The hazard symbols are available in two different widths:
50 mm marking tape with 20 mm symbols or
75 mm marking tape with 50 mm symbols.
It is also possible to combine 2 or 3 x 20 mm symbols on a 75 mm marking tape according to the picture below.
